The PTE Academic Exam is conducted by Pearson VUE. They have established some guidelines that should be considered before taking the exam.
- The PTE VUE, which administers the exam, requires various pieces of personal information from students, such as name, address, sex, gender, parental information, and age.
- There is no age limit for adult students taking the PTE academic exam, but if you are under 18 years old, the PTE exam governing body, PTA VUE, will require a document from your parent or guardian approving your decision to take the exam. Students who are 16 years old or above are eligible to sit for the examination.
- The governing committee is also interested in tracking the students’ grades and marks from previous exams. However, there is an important caveat – simply clearing the PTE exam does not guarantee admission to the PTE VUE, as there are other rules and regulations which must be followed.
